Vattenfall sells minority stake in the hard-coal fired power plant Rostock

RheinEnergie AG, Cologne, takes over the Vattenfall Europe AG, Berlin, minority stake (25.0%) in the hard-coal fired power plant in Rostock.

The involved parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The Rostock power plant has an installed capacity of 553 MW and is one of the latest state-of-the-art coal-fired power plants in Germany.
