HKCF advises Ontras, Thyssengas and Nowega on the H2 Core Network

In 2023, HKCF successfully advised several transmission system operators by conducting extensive financial analyses related to the planned H2 Core Network

As part of their individual efforts to develop a national hydrogen core network, the three gas transmission companies were independently supported by HKCF through comprehensive financial and credit assessments. The focus of the analyses was on detailed evaluations of investment volumes, financing requirements, and the economic impact of building and expanding the future hydrogen infrastructure in Germany. The objective was to create a robust basis for strategic decision-making as well as for discussions with regulatory authorities and political stakeholders. “The development of a powerful hydrogen network is a key prerequisite for a successful energy transition. We are pleased to have supported Ontras, Thyssengas and Nowega in the financial assessment of their projects as part of the H2 Core Network,” says Martin Lawin, Managing Director of HKCF.
