AGO sells biomass CHP plant in Alperstedt
HKCF acted as exclusive M&A advisor to AGO AG Energie + Anlagen
Alperstedt – AGO AG Energie + Anlagen has reached an agreement with Energiecontracting Heidelberg AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, regarding the sale of its biomass combined heat and power (CHP) plant located in Alperstedt. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2012, subject to antitrust approval. The parties have agreed not to disclose further details of the agreement.
“With the sale of the Alperstedt biomass CHP plant in line with our expectations, our operations segment now includes only a minority stake in Pellerei AGO ENERGIA S.r.l.,” said Hans Ulrich Gruber, CEO of AGO AG. “This stake is also currently in the process of being divested as we continue to focus AGO AG’s core capabilities on plant engineering and service.”
